JOHN WAYNE STONEKING
John Wayne Stoneking, 60, of Littleton, WV died Sunday May 3, 2026 at his residence following a battle with cancer.
He was born April 25, 1966 at New Martinsville, a son of Hattie Elizabeth “Liz” Palmer Stoneking of Hundred and the late Ray P. Stoneking.
John worked as a construction worker and he was a methodist by faith.
Surviving is in his wife, Carman Cain Stoneking; one son, William Ray Ewing of Arkansas; four daughters, Aderen Stoneking of Littleton, Anna Marie Culley and her husband Mark of West Alexander, PA, Ashley Nicole Rice of Waynesburg, PA, and Renee Wade and her husband Joey of Wileyville; a God-daughter, Jessica Cecil of Cameron; two brothers, Harris Hawkins and his wife Jane of Hundred and Ray P. Stoneking, Jr. and his wife Sheila of Burton; and nine grandchildren.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by one sister, Carman Jackson; one brother, Jerry Lee Hawkins; one niece, Amber Gorby; and one nephew, Aaron Hawkins.
Friends may call at the Tennant Funeral Home, 2678 Hornet Highway, Hundred, WV from 5:00 to 7:00 PM on Friday, May 8, 2026. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 PM. Following the services John’s request for cremation will be honored.
