ANNA LEE BANE
Anna Lee Bane, 101, of South Charleston, West Virginia passed away peacefully on August 7, 2026.
Born on March 12, 1925, in Knob Fork, West Virginia. Anna lived a long life filled with love, faith, and devotion to her family. She was known for her sweet smile, quick wit, and big heart, leaving a lasting impression on everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
Anna Found great joy in caring for others, especially through babysitting generations of children. She cherished spending time with her family, loved singing, and never missed an opportunity to praise the Lord. Her unwavering faith and kind spirit were the foundation of her life and an inspiration to those around her.
She is lovingly survived by her son, Gary Bane (Cindy); her daughter, Bonnie Powell (Dale); five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren; all of whom will forever treasure her love and the memories they shared.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Rex Bane; her parents; and three sisters.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday at the Mt. Zion Cemetery at Knob Fork, West Virginia. Interment will follow in the Mt. Zion Cemetery.
The Tennant Funeral Home in Hundred, WV is in charge of arrangements.
