ROSE MALOTT
Rose Marie Malott, 85, of Core, WV died Friday, August 14, 2026 at her residence.
She was born February 9, 1941 at Core, a daughter of the late Ralph C. Tennant and Mary E. Henderson Tennant.
Rose worked at Gabes for many years and retired from the Monongalia County Board of Education. She formerly attended the Dolls Run Christian Church.
Surviving are three children, Lynn Stewart (Branda), Terry Stewart, and Christy Javosky; eight grandchildren, Sky (Adrianna), Gunner (Deana) Marlie, Chassidy, Travis, Chris, Josh, Aaron; and eight great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Malott; two brothers, Denzil Tennant and Leroy Tennant; one sister, Margaret Jane Stout; and two sons, Larry Stewart and Gene Stewart.
At the request of the deceased her body will be cremated.
The Owen-Neely Funeral Home in Blacksville, WV is in charge of arrangements.
