Ruth H. Green, 65, of Spraggs, PA died Thursday, June 2, 2016 in Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown.
She was born July 11, 1950 in Bucks County, PA, a daughter of the late John H. Ellis, Sr. and Virginia M. Bleasdale Ellis.
Ms. Green formerly worked as a mail clerk at the WVU Health Science Center in Morgantown. She was a member of the Fountain of Life Church in Washington, PA.
Surviving are two sons and their spouses, John Green of Spraggs, PA and Richard “Rick” Green and his wife Chanda of McConnellsburg, PA; three brothers, John Ellis of Clarksville, PA, George Ellis of Waynesburg, PA, and Edwin Ellis of Claremont, NH; two sisters, Virginia Toothman of Fairview, WV and Jane Kinsey of Rupert, Idaho; and three granddaughters, Valerie Green, Rikki Green, and Rebecca Green.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a nephew, Mark Kinsey.
Friends may call at the Owen-Neely Funeral Home, 5894 Mason-Dixon Highway, Blacksville, WV from 7-9 PM Sunday. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 11:00 AM Monday with Pastor Todd Crouch officiating. Interment will follow in the Phillips Cemetery, Spraggs, PA.
