Scottie Glen Wilson, 84, of MacDale, died Tuesday, December 6, 2016 in Rolling Meadows Nursing Home in Waynesburg, PA.

He was born September 28, 1932 at Daybrook, WV, a son of the late Wilbert Alph “Mutt” Wilson and Sylvia O. Moore Wilson.

Mr. Wilson was a 1951 graduate of Clay-Battelle High School. He worked for Hope Natural Gas Company for 37 years and retired in 1990. He was a lifetime member of the NRA and greatly enjoyed hunting, his farm, and his family.

Surviving are his wife, Kathleen Bell Wilson; three sons and their spouses, Michael (Judy) Wilson, Alan (Mona) Wilson, and Ryan (Terry) Wilson; one sister, Bonnie Sue Morris; six grandchildren and spouses Cheryl (Chris) Butler, Cathy (Bruce) Chisler, Kevin (Crystal) Wilson, Scott Wilson, Alan (Leigha) Wilson, and Ali Wilson; and seven great-grandchildren, Makayla and Kaitlyn Wilson, Bo and Mason Chisler, and Sullivan, Camden, and Beckett Butler.

In addition to his parents Mr. Wilson was preceded in death by his father and mother-in-law, Michael and Gertrude Bell and one brother-in-law, Albert Morris.

Friends and family will be received at the Owen-Neely Funeral Home, Blacksville, WV on Thursday, December 8, 2016 from 2-8PM. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 11:00 AM Friday with Rev. Rose Saunders officiating. Interment will follow in the Olive Cemetery at Pentress.
