Mary Joann Eddy, 69, of Morgantown, WV died Saturday, March 26, 2016 in Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown.
She was born October 26, 1946 at Morgantown, a daughter of the late Joseph Velone Jr. and Emma Sago Velone.
Mrs. Eddy was a retired employee of Ruby Memorial Hospital. She worked as a cashier in the cafeteria.
Surviving are two sons, Jeffrey Allen Eddy of Lexington, Kentucky and Jason Lynn Eddy of Morgantown; one brother, Joseph Velone, III of Kingwood; and three grandchildren, Skylar Eddy, Zacchary Eddy, and Tyler Workman, all of Lexington, KY.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Garry Eddy, who died on October 21, 1993.
Friends may call at the Owen-Neely Funeral Home, 5894 Mason-Dixon Highway, Blacksville, WV from 5-8 PM Tuesday. A memorial service will be held at 8:00 PM Tuesday with the Pastor Janice Smith officiating.
Interment of the cremains will take place at a later date at the Eddy Chapel Cemetery, Jakes Run.
