Michelle Dawn McCord Tuttle, 37, of Daybrook, died unexpectedly Thursday, March 20, 2014 at her home.

She was born May 25, 1976 in Fairmont, the only daughter of Ronnie McCord and Sharon Finch McCord of Daybrook.

Survivors include her parents, her husband of 15 years, Kirk Tuttle, whom she married on February 6, 1999; her only child, Isis Bree Tuttle at home; two brothers, John McCord and wife Casey of Jakes Run and Matthew McCord and partner Brandon Ayers of Morgantown; and two nieces, Kirstin McCord and Kambrie McCord.

She was a faithful Christian, a member of the Daybrook Church of Christ where she taught Sunday school and vacation bible school with her very good friend Marietta Barcroft. Thank You Sandy and Mike Eddy for all you did for Michelle.

Michelle graduated from Clay-Battelle High School and Fairmont State University. She taught elementary school, then was a substitute teacher for a while. She was a secretary for WVU until her auto immune disease made it too difficult to work.

Her family would like to thank her infusion nurses, Lindsey and Melody, for their care and love.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Ernest Fenton McCord and Dessie McCord and her maternal grandparents, John Finch and Elizabeth Finch.

Friends may call at the Daybrook Church of Christ from 3-5 & 7-9 PM Tuesday. Funeral services will be held in the church at 2:00 PM Wednesday with the Evangelist Peter Ray Cole and Evangelist Robert Barcroft officiating. Interment will follow in the Daybrook Cemetery.
