Virginia B. Brewer, 95, of Wadestown, died Tuesday, January 29, 2013 in the Madison Nursing & Rehab Center in Morgantown.
She was born September 22, 1917 at Wadestown, a daughter of the late Henry E. Delaney and Jenny Thomas Delaney.
Mrs. Brewer was a homemaker and a member of the West Warren Baptist Church of Wadestown.
Surviving are three sons, Billy Brewer of Big Run, Edward Brewer of Bridgeport, OH, and Henry Brewer of Wadestown; two daughters, Janie Shriver of Daybrook and Sara Phillips of Hundred; seventeen grandchildren; twenty-nine great-grandchildren; and fifteen great-great-grandchildren.
Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Lester Brewer, who died on November 8, 1976; two brothers, Clemmie Delaney and Larnie Delaney; and four sisters, Mary Evelyn King, Grace Wilson, Marquerite Price, and Ruth Byard.
Friends may call at the Owen-Neely Funeral Home in Blacksville from 5-9 PM Friday. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 11:00 AM Saturday with the Evangelist Aaron Snider officiating. Interment will follow in the Wadestown Cemetery.
