Mary Ann Efaw, 72, of Burton, WV died Wednesday, March 8, 2017 in Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown.
She was born February 25, 1945 at Coburn, a daughter of the late Clyde Cross and Hazel Bell Gump Cross.
Mary Ann worked for Bell’s Market in Hundred for more than 20 years.She was a member of the Earl Kiger American Legion Post #120 Ladies Auxiliary and a member of the Loman Baptist Church at Kingtown.
Surviving are her husband, Jack Efaw; one son and his wife, R. Keith Gump, II and his wife Paula of Burton; one daughter, Rebecca Efaw and companion Kip Morgan of Burton; two step-daughters and their spouses, Margaret Songer of St. Albans, and Jacqueline Zambori and her husband Tom of St. Clairsville, OH; three grandchildren and four step-grandchildren; and one step-great-grandchild.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, William R. Cross and Lonnie Cross; and one sister, Phyllis Garlitz.
Friends may call at the Tennant Funeral Home, 2678 Hornet Highway, Hundred, from 6-9 PM Friday.A graveside service will be held Saturday at 12:00 Noon with Tom Zambori officiating.Interment will follow in the Yost Cemetery near Earnshaw.
