Shirley Louise Parker, 74, of Hundred, WV died February 12, 2016 in a house fire in Hundred.
She was born April 28, 1941 at Fairview, a daughter of the late Carl Yost and Ruth Shreves Yost.
Mrs. Parker had worked at various restaurants as a cook and also had worked at the drapery factory in Mannington.
She was member of the Trinity Baptist Church.
Surviving are her friends, Homer and Shirley Greathouse, and their family.Shirley had been living with the Greathouse family since the death of her husband.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Homer Parker; one son, Mark Allen Falls; and brothers and sister, Roger Yost, Dale Yost, Juanita Yost, Eugene Yost, and Franklin Yost.
At the request of the deceased her body was cremated.A memorial service will be held at graveside at a later date at the Parker Cemetery on Plum Run near Mannington.
The Tennant Funeral Home in Hundred is in charge of arrangements.
