Ziby J. Dixon, 94, of New Freeport, PA died Sunday, April 17, 2016 at his residence.
He was born November 11, 1921 at Columbus, Ohio.
Mr. Dixon was retired from the railroad.He was a veteran of the United States Army.
Surviving are one son, David Dixon of Waynesburg, PA and one daughter, Dawn Dixon, of Deep Valley, PA; four granddaughters, Jaimie Durdevich, Jennifer Hutton, Justina Wise, and Christina Dixon; and several great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Catherine Dixon, and one grandson, Michael Dixon, and several brothers and sisters.
Friends may call at the Tennant Funeral Home in Hundred from 10:00 AM Wednesday until 10:45AM.At 10:45 we will leave the funeral home and proceed to the West Virginia National Cemetery at Grafton where a service will be held at 12:00 Noon.
Interment will follow in the West Virginia National Cemetery.
