Billie Jean Cross, 87, of Hundred, WV died Wednesday, August 31, 2016 in the Tygart Center (Wishing Well Health Care Center) in Fairmont.
She was born January 26, 1929 at Cameron, WV, a daughter of the late Fred G. Wise and Ella May Woodruff Wise.
Mrs. Cross was a retired janitor from the former Huntington National Bank in Hundred.She originally started with the Bank of Hundred that merged with Community Bank and Trust, which then became a part of the Huntington National Bank.
Billie was a member of the Hundred United Methodist Church.
Surviving are two daughters and their spouses, Deborah Thomas of Hundred and Linda and David Cross of Stonewood; and one grandson, Tony Tedrow also of Hundred.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred N. “Pete” Cross who died on December 5, 1994, and a brother who died as an infant.
Friends may call at the Tennant Funeral Home in Hundred from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM on Saturday.Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at11:00 AM with the Rev. Elizabeth Carson officiating.Interment will follow in the Harmony Cemetery at Burton.
