Jerry Lee Hawkins, 58, of Littleton, WV died Sunday, October 9, 2016 at his residence.
He was born November 5, 1957 at Cameron, WV, a son of Donald Hawkins of New Martinsville and Hattie Elizabeth “Liz” Palmer Stoneking of Hundred.
Jerry worked as a telephone lineman for the S & S Communications Company.He was a protestant by faith.
Surviving are his wife, Penny Sue Hawkins; three sons and their spouses, Steven Lee Hawkins of Hundred, Joshua A. Hawkins of Littleton, and Aaron M. Hawkins and his wife Misti of Littleton; his step-mother, Jane Hawkins of New Martinsville; his step-father, Ray P. Stoneking of Hundred; three brothers and their spouses, Roy Harris and Janey Hawkins of Hundred, Ray Stoneking and his wife Darlene of Burton, and John Stoneking and his wife Christ of New Martinsville; three sisters and their spouses, Beverly Prendergast and her husband Marcus, Selenia Howell and her husband Donald and Dawn Watkins and her husband Terry all of Pryor, Oklahoma; Janet McElroy, who was like a daughter to Jerry; and three grandchildren, Miranda Hawkins, Alan Hawkins, and Jerry Ray Hawkins.
Mr. Hawkins was preceded in death by his daughter, Amber Gorby, and by a sister, Carmen Jackson.
Friends may call at the Tennant Funeral Home, Hundred, from 4-6 PM on Friday, October 14, 2016, with a balloon release at 6:00PM.
Following the visitation his request for cremation will be honored.
