Stanley A. Kozon, 91, of Daybrook, died Wednesday, January 4, 2012.
He was born August 25, 1920 at Monongahela, PA, a son of the late Frank Kozon and Anna Karencheck Kozon.
Mr. Kozon was a retired steel worker having retired from Clairton Steel in Clairton, PA. He worked as a mechanic and a heavy equipment operator.
He was catholic by faith. Stanley proudly served his county in the United States Marine Corps.
Surviving are one daughter and son-in-law, Paula and Kyle Lemley of Daybrook; two grandchildren and their spouses, Carla and Aaron Wilson of Daybrook and Brian Lemley of Fairmont; and two great-grandchildren, Mackenzie Wilson and Joshua Wilson.
Preceding him in death in addition to his parents are his wife, Jean Rose Kozon; two brothers, John Kozon and Bill Kozon; and four sisters, Josephine Bill, Mary Pankiewicz, Ann Fedorchack, and Louise Kozon.
Friends may call at the Owen-Neely Funeral Home, 5894 Mason Dixon Highway, Blacksville, WV from 7-9 PM Thursday. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 11:00 AM Friday with the Rev. Sherry Rawlings officiating. Interment will follow in the Monongahela Cemetery in Monongahela, PA.
