Belinda Ann Simpson, 73, of Miracle Run Community, Fairview, WV died Saturday, December 8, 2012.
She was born July 21, 1939 at Morgantown, a daughter of the late George Miller and Virginia Ann Schiffbauer Howard, and her step-father, the late Charles Howard.
Mrs. Simpson worked as a caregiver for the elderly and as a janitor for Peabody Coal Company.
She was a member of the Miracle Run United Methodist Church.
Surviving are three sons & spouses, Timothy and Sheila Simpson of Miracle Run, Samuel and Tabitha Simpson of Miracle Run and Jesse Simpson and companion Amber King of Blacksville; two brothers, William Miller of Alpharetta, GA and Charles Howard of Morgantown; one sister, Helen Howard of Morgantown; three granddaughters, Kota Lizzie Simpson, Keyli Marie Simpson, and Elizabeth Jo Simpson.
In addition to her parents and step-father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jackie Clark Simpson.
The family would like to say "Thanks" to friends and family, the staff of Morgantown Hospice, the staff of the Clay-Battelle Community Health Center, staff of the office of Dr. Faisal Bukeirat, and a "Special Thanks" to Twins Grocery.
Friends may call at the Owen-Neely Funeral Home in Blacksville from 7-9 PM Monday. Funeral services will be held in the Miracle Run United Methodist Church at 11:00 AM Tuesday with Rev. Sherry Rawlings officiating. Interment will follow in the Core Cemetery on Miracle Run.
