Caleb Rodger Ozburn, 12, of Jakes Run, died Sunday, September 11, 2011 in Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown.
He was born March 20, 1999 at Morgantown, a son of Marion Rodger Ozburn,III and Donna Sue Cale Ozburn.
Caleb was a 7th grade student at Clay Battelle High School in Blacksville.
He was an honorary member of the Blacksville Volunteer Fire Department. He loved video games and target shooting.
Caleb was a member of the Doll's Run Christian Church of Core.
Surviving in addition to his parents are his maternal grandmother, Reba Streaker of West Friendship, MD; aunts and uncles, Dwight Cale and his wife Sowi of Dillsburg, PA, Marcel DePersig and his wife Priscilla of Weston, Lloyd DePersig of Fuquay, NC, and Mura Williams and her husband Ron of Vienna, VA; Charlie and Paula Jenkins and their family who were considered by the Ozburns to be family; several special cousins, and a host of friends.
Preceding him in death are his maternal grandfathers, Eldon Cale and Herbert Streaker, and his paternal grandparents, Juanita Ozburn and Marion Rodger Ozburn, II.
Friends may call at the Owen-Neely Funeral Home in Blacksville, 5894 Mason-Dixon Highway, Blacksville, WV from 6-9 PM Tuesday. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday in the Doll's Run Christian Church, 2233 Mason-Dixon Highway, Core, WV with Pastor Jerry Teter officiating. Interment will follow in the Doll's Run Cemetery at Core.
