Shereda Faye Davies Wright, 63, of Pentress, WV died Thursday, March 4, 2010 in the Monongalia General Hospital in Morgantown.
She was born January 3, 1947 at Cassville, WV, a daughter of the late Thomas Gilbert Davies and Willis Rebecca Crider Davies.
Mrs. Wright was retired from the Monongalia General Hospital in Morgantown where she worked as an LPN for more than 20 years. She was a 1964 graduate of University High School in Morgantown. She also graduated from Monongalia County Vo-Tech Center in 1982.
Surviving are her husband of 42 years, Charles G. Wright, Jr.; two daughters, Tammy Joann Wright and her fiance' Christopher Sean Phillips of Waynesburg,PA and Tonya Rebecca Wright of Pentress; two sons, Christopher George Wright and his wife Gissella of Lawton, OK and Charles Greggory Wright and his fiance' Kara Kelley of Daisytown, PA; two sisters and their spouses, Joann Lenhart and her husband Robert of Cheat Lake and Brenda Pennington and her husband Kenny of Grove City, OH; one brother, Jerry Davies and his wife Rose of Morgantown; two sisters-in-law, Mary Jane Kiger and Martha Minor, both of Waynesburg, PA; twelve grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Robert Lee Davies and his wife Charlotte Davies, Glenn Ray Davies, and George Davies.
Friends may call at the Owen-Neely Funeral Home in Blacksville from 2-4 & 6-8 PM Sunday. Funeral services will be held in the Olive United Methodist Church at Pentress at 11:00 AM Monday with the Rev. David Lancaster officiating. Interment will follow in the Olive Cemetery.
