Michael Allen Eddy, 32, of Fairview, WV died Saturday, October 16, 2010.
He was born March 8, 1978 in Fairmont, WV, a son of Sheila Pyles Robbins of Blue Goose Road, Fairview, and the late Floyd Earl "Stub" Eddy.
Michael was currently working at the Red Bone Mine in Morgantown. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, sports of all kinds, Facebook, being a coal miner, and especially the time spent with his son and two nephews.
Surviving in addition to his mother; are one son, Brady Eddy of Fairmont; his step-father, Gary Robbins of Blue Goose; two half-brothers, Sean Eddy of Waynesburg, PA with whom he currently resided, and Thomas Eddy of Rogersville, PA; one sister, Joy Alvarado of Milford, Indiana; two half-sisters, Judy Rastoka of Waynesburg, PA and Carolyn Hillberry of Brave, PA; and two nephews, Alex and Antonio Alvarado.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert and Martha Pyles, whom he held a special place in his heart for her, and Simmie Ray and Bessie Eddy.
Friends may call at the Owen-Neely Funeral Home in Blacksville from 12:00 Noon until 1:00 PM Saturday, October 23, 2010. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM with the Pastor Larry Harker officiating.
