Levi Codi McVicker, 20, of Statler Run Road, Fairview, WV died Tuesday, March 9, 2010 in Ruby Memorial Hospital of injuries sustained in an automobile accident earlier that day.

He was born October 19, 1989 at Charleston, SC, a son of Rodney "Rod" McVicker and Sharon M. Loyko McVicker.

Levi was a 2008 graduate of Clay-Battelle High School. Levi loved to wrestle and wrestled for 15 years. He was a two time East Coast Heavy Weight Champion. During his high school years he also was very active with the football team.

He was currently working as a bouncer at club Karma, and also he worked in retail sales at Dollar Tree in Morgantown. He was a protestant by faith.

Surviving in addition to his parents are one sister and her spouse, Sheena and George Carpenter of Daybrook; one niece, Shyanne Carpenter; his paternal grandmother, Bonita Toothman of Mannington; aunts and uncles, Pam Smith of Mannington, William A. Loyko, Jr. and his family of California, Doris J. Vandergrift and her family of Virginia, Janet L. White and her family of Texas, John R. Loyko and his family of California, and Richard B. Loyko and his family of Virginia; and cousins, Matt Smith and his wife Melinda, and Stacy Smith.

Preceding him in death was his paternal grandfather, Jack McVicker, his paternal step-grandfather Basil Toothman, his maternal grandparents, William A. Loyko Sr. and his wife Edna M. Bard Loyko; his great-grandmother, Flora Graves, and a cousin, Jeffery Smith.

Friends will be received at the Owen-Neely Funeral Home in Blacksville from 2-4 & 7-9 PM Friday. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 11:00 AM Saturday with the Pastor Freddie Eddy, II officiating. Interment will follow in the St. Luke Cemetery at Mooresville.

A meal will be served at the Mooresville Community Center following the graveside services.
