Patricia D. White, 70, of Star City, WV past away Monday, September 27, 2010.
She was born May 3, 1940 in Mt. Hope, WV, a daughter of the late Hugh Garrett and Ella Walker.
She formerly worked as an Assistant Manager for Southland Corp. (7 Eleven) and was a member of the Arlington Assembly of God where she enjoyed cooking and donating her time to church events. Mrs. White also was a lifelong Washington Redskins fan.
Surviving are her husband, Virgil E. White; three sons and their spouses, Quintin White and his wife Rita of Morgantown, Steven White of Manassas, VA, and Matthew White and his wife Janna of Morgantown; three brothers, Otis Clark, Fred Dicks, and Lawrence Dicks; one sister, Sandy Dicks; and three grandchildren, Justin Sears, Mykayla White, and Timothy White.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son Virgil W. White; one sister, Eva Collins; and one step-son, Ronald White.
Friends may call at the Owen-Neely Funeral Home in Blacksville from 11:00 AM until the service hour at 1:00 PM. on Friday, October 1, 2010. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 1:00 PM with the Pastor Robert Bennett officiating. Interment will follow in the Olive Cemetery at Pentress.
