Frederick C. Chisler, 50, of Mt. Morris, PA died Sunday, September 27, 2009.
He was born November 2, 1958 at Waynesburg, PA, a son of Bob R. Chisler of Core and the late Imogene Ione Price Chisler.
Fred was currently a self employed equipment operator and truck driver. He had formerly worked for Chisler Bros at Pentress for many years.
He was a member of the Mount Morris Gospel Tabernacle.
Surviving are his wife, Jackie Michael Chisler; one brother, Neil Chisler of Blacksville; four sisters and spouses, Eilene and Jerry Wilson of Pentress, Martha and Douglas Lancaster of Daybrook, Pat and Joel Bruffey of Roanoke, WV, and Mavis Eddy of Core; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his mother he was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Melvin Eddy.
Friends may call at the Owen-Neely Funeral Home in Blacksville from 2-4 & 7-9 PM Wednesday. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 1:00 PM Thursday with the Rev. Fred Tomlinson officiating. Interment will follow in the Olive Cemetery at Pentress.
The casket will remain closed.
