Donald Ray Moore, 59, of Brave, PA died Thursday, October 4, 2007 in the Southwest Regional Medical Center in Waynesburg, PA.
He was born May 26, 1948 at Waynesburg, PA, a son of Madeline Ruth Eddy Moore of Spraggs, PA and the late James L. Moore.
Don worked for Accurate Forging Corp. in Brave for 17 years. He was a volunteer fireman with the Brave Volunteer Fire Dept in his earlier years. He was a member of the Kent's Chapel United Methodist Church for whom he played dartball and softball in his youth.
Surviving in addition to his mother are his wife, Lou M. Moore; one son & spouse, Michael A & Lisa Moore of Brave, PA; two granddaughters, Britney and Elizabeth Moore; four brothers & spouses, Ronald L. "Dick" Moore and his wife Kimberly of Spraggs, PA; Vernon G. Moore of Brave, James Moore Jr and Rusty Moore; and one sister Brenda Harris.
Friends may call at the Owen-Neely Funeral Home in Blacksville from 7-9 PM Saturday. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 1:00 PM Sunday with the Rev. David Lancaster officiating. Interment will follow in the Phillips Cemetery at Spraggs, PA.
