Billie Lea Shrout, 81, of Pentress, WV died Friday, July 20, 2007 in the Golden Living Center (Morgan Manor) in Morgantown.
She was born March 10, 1926, a daughter of the late Augustus Drainer and Eva Grace Black Drainer.
Billie was a housewife and a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
She was a member of the Grafton Road Church of God of Morgantown.
Surviving are one daughter, Diana Dittman of Blacksville; two sons, Garry Shrout of Morgantown and Robert Shrout of Moundsville; three brothers, David Drainer of Los Angeles, CA, Jerry Drainer and Chuck Drainer, both of Chicago, Ill; one sister, Jane Garrett of Morgantown; seven grandchildren, Carol Lynn Teets, Sherry Dawn Scarbro, Garry Shrout, Scott Dittman, Randy Dittman, Rebecca Dittman, and Billie Jane Shrout; and thirteen great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clifton (Chip) Shrout, who died on November 11, 1992; one son, Larry C. Shrout, one grandson, Todd Dittman; four brothers, Eddie, Jimmy, Richard, and Robert; and two sisters, Ginger and Peggy.
Friends may call at the Owen-Neely Funeral Home in Blacksville from 2-4 & 7-9 PM Monday. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 2:00 PM Tuesday with Pastor Lee Green officiating. Interment will follow in the Olive Cemetery at Pentress.
