Randy Marshall, 50, of Pentress, WV died Sunday, May 27, 2007 in the Logan Regional Hospital of injuries sustained in an ATV Accident on the Hatfield & McCoy Trails at Gilbert, WV.
He was born March 3, 1957 at Charleston, WV, a son of the late James B. Marshall and Madeline Tennant Marshall.
Randy had been a coal miner most of his life, having worked in the coal industry for more than 22 years. Currently he was working as a general inside miner at the Robinson Run Mine. He loved to bowl at Sycamore Lanes in Morgantown and was a member of the USBA and he was also a member of the Waynesburg Moose. He was a graduate of Clay-Battelle High School Class of 1975. His favorite past time was riding 4 wheelers.
Surviving are his wife, Debra Crawford Marshall; three sons, Rusty Holtz of Enid, Oklahoma, Benny Bair of Morgantown and Trevor Marshall of Pentress; one daughter, Jessica Bair Hamilton of Daybrook; three sisters, Shirley Shear of Texas, Kathy Efaw and Judy Deem, both of Fairmont; and five grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Bob Marshall.
Friends may call at the Owen-Neely Funeral Home in Blacksville from 2-4 & 7-9 PM Wednesday. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 11:00 AM Thursday with the Pastor David Hudson officiating. Interment will follow in the Tennant Cemetery at Pentress.
