Alan Glen Tennant, 58, of Wadestown, WV died Wednesday, September 29, 2010 at his residence.
He was born July 15, 1952 at Fairmont, WV, a son of Naomi Jane Devine Tennant of Wadetown and the late Charles E. Tennant.
Mr. Tennant was a retired coal miner from the Blacksville #2 mine.
Surviving are his wife, Mary Gayle Shriver Tennant; one daughter and her husband, Jessica Claire O'Leary and her husband John of Garfield, Arkansas; grandchildren, Katie, Patrick, and Alana; one sister, Sheila Tennant of Wadestown and one brother Charles L. Tennant of Russell KY.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 4, 2010 in the Owen-Neely Funeral Home Blacksville at 7:00 PM with the Pastor Steve Edwards officiating.
