Albert B. Yost, 82, of Burton,WV died Tuesday, September 21, 2010 in the Sundale Nursing Home in Morgantown.
He was born November 5, 1927 in Hundred, WV, a son of the late Charles Russell Yost and Margaret Sole Yost.
Albert was self employed in the oil and gas business for many years. He operated A. V. Co., Inc, Mid-Eastern Gas Company, and Kimeric and Company.
Mr. Yost was a United States Army veteran who served in World War II and he was a United States Airforce veteran who served during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the Earl Kiger American Legion Post #120 of Hundred.
He was a member of the Harmony Baptist Church of Burton.
Surviving are two sons, Eric K. Yost and his companion Jean Crihfield of Burton and Albert B. "Kim" Yost II and his wife Linda of Morgantown; one granddaughter and her husband, Amy Elizabeth Nickerson and her husband Aaron.
Mr. Yost was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Sarah Jean Yost, who died on January 6, 1995; one brother, Franklin R. Yost; two sisters, Margaret Jean Singer and Lulu Lee Ashcraft; and a nephew, Russell Lewis Ashcraft.
Friends may call at the Tennant Funeral Home in Hundred from 5-9 PM Thursday. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 11:00 AM Friday with the Evangelist Dick Bartrug officiating. Interment will follow in the Harmony Cemetery at Burton.
