ALFRED GARRISON
Alfred Ester Garrison, 78, of Hundred, WV died Tuesday, July 2, 2019 at his residence.
He was born September 12, 1940 at Hundred, a son of the late Milton A. Garrison and Marie Poland Garrison.
Alfred formerly worked as a police officer for the Town of Hundred for many years. He also drove school bus for the Wetzel County Board of Education. He was a veteran of the United States Army and a member of the Earl Kiger American Legion Post #120 of Hundred. Mr. Garrison was also a member of the Rush Run United Methodist Church.
Surviving are one son and his wife, James Garrison and wife Nannette of Olive Hill, Kentucky; two daughters and their spouses, Carol Cecil and her husband Calvin of Hundred and Darlene Stoneking and her husband Ray of Burton; one sister, Loretta Cooper of Apollo, PA; eight grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Joan Garrison, and by three brothers; Harold Garrison, Bobby Joe Garrison, and Gary Garrison.
All services will be private and will be held at the convenience of the family with burial taking place in the Anderson-Bethel Cemetery at Littleton with Evangelist Steve Stevens officiating.
The Tennant Funeral Home in Hundred is in charge of arrangements.
