Alma J. Joseph, 83, of Akron, Ohio passed away November 5, 2007. Alma was born March 16, 1924 in Daybrook, West Virginia. In 1960 she moved with her family to Akron. In her younger years, she enjoyed squaredancing. In later years, she took great pride in her garden and enjoyed vacationing in the Carolinas. Alma was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, and one sister. She will be deeply missed by her husband of 64 years, Abe; daughter, Carolyn McCardle (Ramon Luna); son, James (Rita) Joseph; sister, Alice Wise; brother, Raymer Tennant; grandchildren, Tracy Snowberger, Bill (Melissa) Lowers, Tony (Julie) Barbuto, and Michael (Theresa) Barbuto; and seven great-grandchildren.
Family and friends may call at the Owen-Neely Funeral Home in Blacksville from 2-4 & 6-8 PM Friday. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 11:00 AM Saturday with the Rev.
