Alverna N. Miller, 79, of Aleppo, PA died Wednesday, March 19, 2003 in the Greene County Memorial Hospital in Waynesburg, PA.
She was born May 5, 1923 at Brave, PA a daughter of the late John Spencer Wright and Nancy Viola McNeely Wright.
Mrs. Miller was a homemaker and she attended the Mt. Carmel Church of God.
Surviving are one son, Rex Miller of Aleppo, PA; two daughters, Nancy Hughes and Sharon Miller both of Aleppo, PA; one sister, Frances Hughes of New Freeport, PA; three grandchildren, Ginger Wise, Laura Miller and David Miller; two great-grandchildren, Alex and Harlie Miller.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth H. Miller who died on November 14, 1982, the couple was married on May 16, 1946; one sister, Grace Moore and one brother, Rex Wright.
Friends may call at the Tennant Funeral Home in Hundred from 2-4 and 7-9 PM Friday.Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 11:00 AM Saturday with the Pastor Jack Gray officiating.Interment will follow in the Thomas Cemetery, Ned, PA.
