Condolences
Annie was a very special person. She always seemed to smoke even when most wouldn't. We joked around she was a Penn State Alumni and I am a WVU Alumni. She would do anything for anyone and I am glad to have been blessed to have known her. My condolences to the family and may Annie find peace and the love of Christ.
With Deepest Condolences

Although our relationship as adults was mainly via Facebook, my childhood years with Annie hold extra special memories of my first best friend, my first sleepover, and day after day of roller skating and listening to music on cassette tapes at recess.
Shortly after my grandfather passed away, she gave me a poem she had written. I will leave here, with my deepest sympathy, for Roger, Chris, Lisa, Lil Rog, and the rest of Annie's family:
When things look bad
And your dreams have run out of steam
Reach deep inside yourself
Down where all the happy memories rest
And bring one back to life again
Use your own nourishment to feed your heart
So for every fault that is getting you down
Seek an object of beauty to cheer you up
You will find that it's not so hard
Just be yourself and soon the beauty will seek you.

I am truly heartbroken!!!! It's unbelievable! She was my best friend for many years! I have so many incredible memories with her! I pray for her family! I miss all of you! My deepest sympathies! She was an amazing girl! May God watch over everyone with this terrible loss!
I have been silent, trying to deal with my own feelings. What do you say when your best childhood friend passes? To be so close as kids you think it will always stay the same. And then in adulthood you settle into your own life, but you always think about those childhood friends. I would have done anything she asked of me and was just a phone call away. But that call never came. My heart is broken for her. I just wish I could have done more. I will miss her forever and hope she found the peace she needed and deserved so much.
My dear, sweet friend, Annie. We were as close growing up as two girls could be without being actual sisters, even though we were often mistaken as such. I take comfort in all of our memories...even our fatherly lectures we received on numerous occasions. Give your Mama a hug for me and I am sure you have Billy Idol playing on repeat. My thoughts and prayers go out for Roger, Lil' Roger, Chris and Lisa. Until we meet again...
