Anna Ruth Moore, 94, of Blacksville, WV died Thursday, January 4, 2018 in the Monongalia General Hospital in Morgantown.
She was born March 19, 1923 at Blacksville, a daughter of the late James P. Burke and Miriam “Mamie” Patterson Burke.
Mrs. Moore was retired from the United States Postal Service.She served as the Blacksville postmistress for many years.
She was a member of the Blacksville United Methodist Church, the United Methodist Women, and the Blacksville Senior Center.
Surviving are children and their spouses, James E. Moore, Gary & Jane Moore, Beth & Eddie Huggins, Marcia & Steve Greza, and Melanie & Bill Moore; a son-in-law and his wife, Christopher & Sharon Wilson; grandchildren Travis Wilson (Mandi), Joshua Moore, Lindsay Ann Moore, Christopher Moore, Neyen Moore, Matthew Huggins (Shawna), Kylie Huggins Reesman (Matthew), Lucas Greza (Anne), Cameron Greza, Jarrod Moore, Jaime Moore, Tobi Kuhn (Wesley), and Robin Fox; great-grandchildren, Aly Moore, Sydney Wilson, Micah Wilson,Kya Huggins, Kealay Huggins, Maksim Reesman, Jett Reesman, and Megan Moore; very dear friends, Sam & Lynda Vinton; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Estel L. Joe Moore who died on April 25, 1989; one daughter, Karen Lee Wilson; two sisters, Wilma Farace and Florence Aldine Burke; and one brother, Charles Burke.
Friends may call at the Blacksville United Methodist Church in Blacksville from 2-8 PM Monday.Funeral services will be held in the church at 1:00 PM Tuesday with the Rev. Rose Saunders officiating.Interment will follow in the Blacksville Cemetery.

A shuttle bus will be provided from the Owen-Neely Funeral Home parking lot to the church for those unable to find a parking place near the church.
