ARLAS JUNIOR SPROUSE

            Arlas Junior Sprouse, 75, of Waynesburg, PA died Tuesday, June 19, 2018 in the Sundale Nursing Home in Morgantown.

            He was born September 5, 1942 at Lost Creek, WV.

            Mr. Sprouse worked for the late F. M. “Frank” Chisler as a pipe cutter.

            Surviving are his wife, Sara Carr Sprouse; two sons, Kevin Sprouse of Wana and Arlis Sprouse of Apple Creek, Ohio; two daughters, Penny Sprouse of Martins Ferry, OH and Sherree Sprouse of Wana; two brothers, Jim Sprouse of Mannington and Nick Myers of Jakes Run; two sisters, Ruth Towns of Daybrook and Dorothy Lemley of Daybrook; fourteen grandchildren and twenty-six great-grandchildren.

            In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother who died as an infant and by four grandchildren.

            Friends may call at the Owen-Neely Funeral Home, 5894 Mason-Dixon Highway, Blacksville, WV from 6-9 PM Friday.  Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 11:00 AM Saturday with Pastor James Carpenter officiating.  Interment will follow in the Wadestown Cemetery.
