Arley Guy Carpenter, 82, of Daybrook, died Monday, December 25, 2017 at his residence.
He was born August 11, 1935 at Fairmont, a son of the late Samuel George Carpenter and Nannie Mae Carpenter.
Mr. Carpenter was a retired custodian having worked for schools in Florida.He was a United States Army veteran.
Surviving are two sisters and their husbands, Mazzie and George McCoy and Nora and Thomas McCoy; two brothers and their spouses, Fay Carpenter and Clyde and Eve Carpenter; sister-in-law, Edna Carpenter; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant sister, Martha Carpenter and a brother, John Carpenter.
Friends may call at the Owen-Neely Funeral Home, 5894 Mason-Dixon Highway, Blacksville, WV from 6-8 PM Thursday.Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 8:00 PM with Rev. Freddie Eddy, II officiating.
Following services his request for cremation will be honored.
