August Allen Rebold, 73, of Bula, died Wednesday, June 6, 2012 in the Monongalia General Hospital in Morgantown.
He was born January 17, 1939 at Bula, a son of the late August Edward Rebold and Opal Virginia Simpson Rebold.
Mr. Rebold was a retired driller and a member of the Bula Baptist Church.
Surviving are his son, Mark Allen Rebold of Morgantown; two daughters and their husbands, Veronica Hartman and husband Lonnie Jr. of Morgantown and Michelle Swihart and husband David of Pt. Marion, PA; one brother, Randy Rebold of Morgantown; one sister, Juanita Raber of Spraggs, PA; his caregiver, Kim Bierer; ten grandchildren, Patrick, Clint, and Cliff Hartman, Nicole, Mark Allen II, and Jeremy Rebold, Allicia, Zackary, Matthew, and Ty Swihart; and five great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Sarah Rebold.
Friends may call at the Owen-Neely Funeral Home in Blacksville from 6-9 PM Saturday. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 1:30 PM Sunday with Pastor Allen Dunham officiating. Interment will follow in the Olive Cemetery at Pentress.
