Belva M. Huffman, 82, of Cameron, WV died Sunday, February 27, 2005 in the Reynolds Memorial Hospital in Glen Dale.
She was born February 9, 1923 at Cameron, WV a daughter of the late Charles Logsdon and Nellie Mae Blake Sampson.
Mrs. Huffman was a retired janitor for the Marshall County Board of Education. She retired with eleven years of service. She worked at Cameron elementary school and John Marshall High School. She was a member of the Cameron Christian Church.
Surviving are one brother and sister-in-law, Kenneth & Lavone Sampson of Cameron; one sister and brother-in-law, Wilma and Gail Postlethwait of Littleton; two step-brothers, Earl W. Sampson of California and Frankie Clark Sampson of Bethlehem, PA; one step-sister, Margie McFadden of Minnesota; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Francis Huffman who died on January 7, 2005; a half brother, A. C. Logsdon; two step-sisters, Opal Slay and Lena Lambert; and step-brother, Robert Sampson.
Friends may call at the Tennant Funeral Home in Hundred from 7-9 PM Tuesday. Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM Wednesday in the funeral home with the Pastor Tim Brower officiating. Interment will follow in the Big Run Cemetery near Cameron.
