Betty Jean Oliver, age 91, of Cohutta, Georgia and formerly of Porters Falls, WV, passed away Sunday, February 24, 2019 at her residence.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Carl Oliver; parents, Friend and Mary Staley; 5 brothers and 5 sisters.
Local survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Peggy and David Edge of Cohutta, GA; 3 granddaughters; 5 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at Tennant Funeral Home in Hundred, West Virginia starting at 1:00 PM on Wednesday. The funeral will be held at such time as the family believes that everyone who will be coming has arrived. The family would like to be at the cemetery by 3:00 PM. Interment will follow in the Harmony Cemetery at Burton, West Virginia.

I am so sorry to hear about Betty. We were both blessed with the love and friendship we had with our mothers and the many memories we have. Our mothers enjoyed each other.
