Bob R. Chisler, 86, of Core, WV went home to be with his heavenly father Wednesday, April 6, 2016 in the Monongalia General Hospital in Morgantown.

He was born January 13, 1930 at Daybrook, a son of the late Cecil Chisler and Jewel Wilson Chisler.

Bob and his father Cecil started a business which was known as Cecil Chisler and Son in 1950. When Cecil retired it was divided between his four sons and was then called Chisler Brothers. It is now ran by the next generation of Chisler boys.

Mr. Chisler was a member of the Daybrook Methodist Church.

Surviving are his children and their spouses, Eileen and Jerry Wilson, Neil and Veronica Chisler , Martha Chisler, and Mavis Chisler Eddy; one son-in-law, Joel Bruffey; one daughter-in-law, Jackie Chisler; grandchildren and their spouses, Tamara & Randy Ammons, Trina Shriver, Jeanette & Mike Heath, Jennifer & Eddie Short, Jeremy & Kelley Bruffey, Clinton & Nadia Chisler, Chris & Jennifer Chisler, Tony & Kim Sperandio, Clay Sperandio & Becky Gyorko, Josh & Dee Dee Wilson, Mandy Eddy & Matt Spicer, Matthew Eddy, Kelsey & Preston Wilson, and Morgan Wright; great-grandchildren, Stachia Shriver, Statton Shriver, Tristan Shriver, Amanda Ammons, Autumn Ammons, Brittney Taylor, Merinna Heath, Madison Heath, Trey Short, Trevor Short, Kellen Bruffey, Kimberly Sperandio, Stephanie Sperandio, Ashley Sperandio, Andrew Wilson, Rylan Wilson, Trinity King, Troy King, Miranda King, Nicole Grow, Brandon Grow, Isaac Eddy, and Chloe Eddy; two great-great-grandchildren, Chase Wilson Conner Barr and Zoey Wright; three brothers and their spouses, Roy Dale Chisler & Twyla, David Chisler & Nola, and John Paul Chisler and Carol.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Imogene Ione Price Chisler; one son, Frederick Chisler; one daughter, Patricia “Pat” Ann Bruffey; one sister, Dorothy Liming; and one brother-in-law, Byron Liming.

Friends may call at the Owen-Neely Funeral Home, 5894 Mason-Dixon Highway, Blacksville, WV from 4-9 PM Friday. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 11:00 AM Saturday with Rev. Freddie Eddy, II officiating. Interment will follow in the Olive Cemetery at Pentress.
