Bonita G. “Bonnie” Moore, 66, of Wadestown, WV died Saturday, January 16, 2016 in the Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown.
She was born April 23, 1949 in Wheeling, WV, a daughter of Charles A. Grimes and Oneita Stockdale Grimes, who both survive of New Freeport, PA.
Bonnie was an employee of Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown for more than 41 years having retired in 2009.While working at the hospital she worked in all of the following areas, Payroll Department, Business Office, Information Technology, and the Telecommunications Department.
Surviving in addition to her parents is her husband of 30 years, Robert G. Moore; one step-daughter, Cindy Moore; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins, and a host of friends.
Bonnie was a graduate of West Greene High School at Rogersville, PA and the Electric Computer Programming Institute in Pittsburgh, PA.
She was a member of the Grandview United Methodist Church at Garrison, PA and served as the church treasurer and pianist for the past 14 years.
Preceding her in death are her paternal grandparents, Orville O. & Carrie O. Grimes; maternal grandparents, Spencer H. & Nettie Mae Wright Stockdale; maternal step-grandfather, Dr. John C. Stull; and one step-son, Robert C. Moore.
A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
