C. Evelyn Estel, 89, of Fairmont, WV died Thursday, January 3, 2008 in the Wishing Well Health Care Center in Fairmont.
She was born March 30,1918 near Wadestown, WV, a daughter of the late Charlie and Mary Lillie Moore Estel.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Lucille Jackson, a brother, Robert Wayne Estel, and a niece, Mary Jo Lemley.
Miss Estel was a member of the Valley Chapel United Methodist Church, Pleasant Valley, Fairmont.
She was employed at Westinghouse Electric Corporation in Fairmont for 35 years.
Surviving are one nephew, William T. Estel of Wadestown; one great-niece, Mary Anne Mullenax of Farmington; two great-nephews, Daniel W. Estel of Morgantown and Gregory S. Lemley of Mt. Morris, PA; six great-great-nieces, Maddie Elizabeth Mullenax, Mackenzie Anne Mullenax, Dainelle Fuller, Lacey Lemley, Aubrey D. Estel, Jacie Michael, and one great-great-nephew, Drew Michael.
Friends may call at the Tennant Funeral Home in Hundred from 6-8 PM Friday. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 11:00 AM Saturday with the Rev. Chris Duckworth officiating. Interment will follow in the Wadestown Cemetery.
