C Gay Rice Hennen, 80, of Fairmont, WV died Wednesday, February 25, 2004 in the Arbors at Fairmont Nursing Home.
She was born November 3, 1923 at Piney, WV a daughter of the late Jesse Lee Haught and Della May Davis Haught.
Mrs. Hennen worked as a cook at the Miss Blue Restaurant and the Earl Kiger American Legion Post #120, both in Hundred.She was a member of the DAV in Waynesburg, PA.She was known throughout the community for donating her time and services for several years.She was a protestant by faith.
Surviving are one daughter, Dixie Rice, of Fairmont; two sons & daughter in laws, Gene & Alice Rice of Fairmont and Jerry Lee and Kim Rice of Mannington; four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; one brother, Lloyd Haught of Middlebourne; five sisters, May Haught of Sardis, Ohio, Faye Webb of Spencer, Ohio, Reva Shanholtzer of Reader, Joy Condit of Moundsville, and Ruthetta Staley of Reader; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Jefferson Usky (Buck) Rice, her second husband, Fred Hennen; one son, Donnie Rice; and two brothers, Guy Haught and Terry Lee Haught.
Friends may call at the Tennant Funeral Home in Hundred from 2-4 & 7-9 PM Friday.Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 11:00 AM Saturday with the Evangelist Steve Stevens officiating.Interment will follow in the Thomas Cemetery, Ned, PA.
