Carl Bernard Marshall, Sr. born on May 30, 1920 at Littleton, WV died on Friday, December 11, 2009 in the Louis A. Johnson Veterans Administration Hospital in Clarksburg, WV.
He was the husband of Beulah Powers Marshall, who preceded him in death on September 14, 2009. He was the son of the late Archie and Rosa Wright Marshall of Littleton. His parents preceded him in death as well as his nine siblings.
Surviving are his son, Carl B. Marshall, Jr. and his spouse Sharon of Littleton, WV; his daughter Cathy L. Abrecht of Hagerstown, MD. Carl was the loving grandparent of two grandsons, John T. Marshall and wife, and Shaun M. Abrecht; and four granddaughters, Wendy Wolfrey and husband, Stacey Farley, Aimee Abrecht, and Shannon Abrecht. In addition he has six great-grandsons and five great-granddaughters. He leaves many nephews, nieces, brothers and sisters-in-Christ, friends and neighbors who will miss him greatly.
He was a faithful member of the Littleton Church of Christ. Mr. Marshall retired from the Veterans Administration Hospital in Perry Point, MD in 1975.
Friends may call at the Tennant Funeral Home in Hundred, WV from 7:00 to 8:30 PM on Sunday, December 13. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 11:00 AM Monday.
