Carrol R. Grim, 76, of New Freeport, PA died Monday, March 9, 2015 at her residence.

She was born April 28, 1938 at Garrison, PA, a daughter of the late Phillip Glenn Williams and Maude Bellard Williams.

Mrs. Grim was a retired employee of Greenway Manufacturing in Waynesburg. She also drove school bus in the New Freeport area.

Carrol was a member of the New Freeport Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxillary and a member of the Grandview United Methodist Church.

She volunteered for many years with the United Emergency Unit in Hundred and she worked as an election poll worker.

Surviving are four daughters and their spouses, Darleen & Rick Barnhart of New Freeport, PA, Diane & Bennie Bartrug of Hundred, Lorie & Stephen Hildreth of Wind Ridge, PA, and Helen Fox of Crafton, PA; two brothers, James Williams and Charles Williams, both of Paris, PA; four sisters, Laverne Willoughby of Colliers, Mary Ann Dolby of Weirton, Carren Williams of Mineral Wells , and Ruth Fancher of Weirton; ten grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Grim, and by two brothers, Loring (Bud) Williams and Sherle Williams.

Friends may call at the Tennant Funeral Home, 2678 Hornet Highway, Hundred, WV from 2-7 PM Thursday. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 2:00 PM Friday with the Rev. Cynthia Deter officiating. Interment will follow in the Pine Bank Cemetery, Pine Bank, PA.
