CHARLES JAMES STROSNIDER

          Charles James Strosnider, 53 of Wana, WV died Sunday, August 17, 2025 in Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown.

          He was born November 12, 1971 at Morgantown, WV a son of the late Charles Stuart Strosnider ad Betty Louise Scott Maust.

          James formerly worked as a First-Class Tree Trimmer.  He formerly attended the Wana United Methodist Church.

          Surviving is one daughter, Amber Leah Whittaker of Lakin, Ohio; two brothers, Robert Simms of Blacksville and Samuel Simms of Daybrook; four sisters, Carol Gasco of Daybrook, Debra Eddy of Blacksville, Elizabeth Davis of Wana, and Susan Smith of San Antonio TX; two grandchildren, James and Lakisha; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

          In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his ex-wife, Misty Strosnider; grandparents and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

          All services will be private and will be held at the convenience of the family.

          The Owen-Neely Funeral Home in Blacksville is in charge of arrangements.
