Charles Ray Cumberledge, 66, of Spraggs, PA died Monday, January 20, 2003 at his residence following a battle with cancer.
He was born October 31, 1936 at Spraggs, PA a son of Georgia Phillips Cumberledge of Brave, PA and the late Thompson E. Cumberledge.
Mr. Cumberledge was a retired vault service man and retired from the Tennant Wilbert Vault Company of Mt. Morris, PA.He was a member of the Miracle Run Revival Church of Blacksville.
Surviving are his wife, Sara L. Rogers Cumberledge; two sons, Jackie Cumberledge and Donnie Cumberledge both of Spraggs, PA; one daughter and spouse, Beverly and Jeff Whitehill of Spraggs, PA; three granddaughters, Amanda, Holly and Chelsea Cumberledge; four brothers, William Cumberledge of Spraggs, PA, Carl Cumberledge of Brave, Ammon Cumberledge of Cleveland, OH and Robert Cumberledge of West Lake, OH; five sisters, Martha Rogers of Cleveland, OH, Leota Lemasters of Elyria, OH, Sophia Jane Cumberledge of Cleveland, OH, Louie Katherine Ponzoo of Harrisburg, PA and Ethel Annette Tetter of Branford, FL.
In addition to his father he was preceded in death by three brothers, Gary Lee Cumberledge, Ira Cumberledge and James Cumberledge; and one daughter, Kimberly Sue Cumberledge who died as an infant.
Friends may call at the Tennant Funeral Home in Hundred from 2-4 and 7-9 PM Tuesday.Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 1:00 PM Wednesday with the Pastor Raymond Morris officiating.Interment will follow in the Blacksville Cemetery.
