Chester Glen Ornduff, 40, of Hundred reached his heavenly home January 18, 2012.

He was born November 2, 1971 at Wheeling, a true gift from God to George H. Ornduff and Wilma Stetz Ornduff.

He was the 2005 Grand Marshall of the Hundred 4th of July Parade, proudly donated his time to Hundred High School, Bells Grocery, V & K Grocery, Hundred EMS, and was the official overseer of the Field of Dreams.

Chester was an avid watcher of Wheel of Fortune, fan of Nascar, Pittsburgh Steelers and a nature observer.

His hobbies included collecting business cards, shopping, and crafts.

Surviving are his mother, Wilma Stetz Ornduff, his maternal grandmother, Warda Stetz of Mannington; several aunts and uncles, Hugh Ornduff of San Jose, California, Carol and Bob Gorby of New Martinsville, Wanda and Carl Lemley of Sistersville. A special extended family, Rick and Jennifer Kolat and their sons, Danny, Lane and Adam; and his lovable dog Zeke.

In addition to his father, George H. Ornduff, who died on October 19, 2011, he was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Frank and Mary Ornduff, and his maternal grandfather, Walter Stetz.

The family would like to say thanks to Dr. Francis Mah, Dr. Mary Sheehan, Dr. Douglas Wofe, Dr. Gordon Miller, Dr. Adriana Palade, and Dr. Ronald Grazizni, who were always there when needed.

Chester made an impact on all who knew him. He will always be remembered for his great sense of humor, innate love of life and sincere likeability. His many friends and family take comfort in knowing that he's now making the angels smile.

To those who sent cards, your cards brighten his day. Thank You.
