Cornelia Fay Wood Henderson, 88, of Littleton, WV died Sunday, September 6, 2015 in the Monongalia General Hospital in Morgantown.
She was born June 19, 1927 near Wileyville, WV, a daughter of the late Bernard P. Wood and Ona Yoho Wood.
Mrs. Henderson was a homemaker.
She was a member of the Littleton United Methodist Church.
Cornelia was preceded in death by her husband, John Daniel Henderson whom she married on November 19, 1945; two sons, David Lee Henderson and Gerald Randy Henderson; three daughters-in-law, Debbie Kelly Henderson, Carmen Swager McDougal, and Teaunna Miller Henderson Morgan; her parents, Bernard and Ona Yoho Wood; and four siblings, Ruhama Wood Cannon, Verl Wood, Garnett Wood, and Royce Wood.
Surviving are two sons and their spouses, Wayne and Zula Henderson of Burton and Frank and Dee Henderson of Littleton; a daughter-in-law, Kay Clifton Henderson; six grandchildren and their spouses, Patricia Henderson, Cindy and Dan Woodbury, Daniel Henderson, Jessica and Matthew Knight, Hannah Henderson, Luke Henderson; six great-grandchildren, Maggie, Jeffrey, Emma, and Justin Woodbury, Zerek Henderson and Arabella Knight; three siblings, Drexell Wood, Billie Mae White, and David and Imogene Wood.
Family and friends may call at the Tennant Funeral Home, 2678 Hornet Highway, Hundred, WV from 2-4 & 7-9 PM Thursday. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 11:00 AM Friday. Interment will follow in the Jolliffe-Henderson Cemetery, Kirk Ridge, near Littleton, WV.
