Daniel Alan Snider, 30, of Pentress, WV died Monday, June 21, 2010 during an airplane crash in Lock Haven, PA.
Dan was born July 10, 1979 in Pittsburgh, PA, a son of Charles Roy Snider, Jr. and Sharon Oberle Snider of Roxboro, NC.
Mr. Snider was an employee of the USDA Forest Service. He worked as a Biological Technician in Forest Health Protection. He had worked for the Forest Service for the past nine years. He was also the owner and operator of Indian Meadows Campground.Danny enjoyed music, embraced life, and loved his family and friends.
Surviving in addition to his parents, are his wife, Elizabeth Cameron Snider; one son, Lee Wildman Snider at home; paternal grandparents, Charles Roy Snider Sr and his wife Eileen Snider of DeFuniak Springs, Florida; his maternal grandmother, Lorraine Oberle of Hudson Beach, Florida; two sisters, Valerie Werle of Meshoppen, PA and Jacklyn Snider of Philadelphia, PA; and three nephews.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Albert Oberle.
Friends will be received at the Owen-Neely Funeral Home in Blacksville, WV from 11:00 AM on Monday, June 28, 2010, followed by A Celebration of Life at 1:00 P.M.
