DANNY RAY RITER
Dan “Danny” Ray Riter, 64, of New Martinsville, WV died March 28, 2020 in the Genesis Center in New Martinsville.
Danny was born on January 11, 1956 in Weirton, WV to his parents, Donald Ray Riter and Norma Lee Sapp Riter. He married Darlene Bissett in 1980.
Dan had formerly worked as a plant manager for the Hundred-Littleton Public Service District. The Riters moved to Texas where Dan worked as a Utility Manager for US Steel.
He and Darlene were members of the Eagle Heights Church. He retired in 2001 and enjoyed spending time with family members, volunteer at church, and helping friends and neighbors.
Dan is survivied by his son Chris Riter, daughter-in-law, Rebecca Zellar, and their daughter Clara of Antioch, IL; his brothers, Donald Riter of Virginia and Mark Riter of Middlebourne, WV.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Darlene.
There will be no funeral home visitation or funeral service.
A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
The Tennant Funeral Home in Hundred, WV is in charge of arrangements.

Met him only once when he and Chris joined our family Christmas dinner. Enjoyed his company and was glad he could be with us. A nice memory for our family. All our best to his family and friends.
