Delores Mefford, 70, of Waynesburg, PA died Wednesday, September 10, 2014 in Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown.
She was born September 6, 1944 at Waynesburg, PA, a daughter of the late John Laskody and Anna Barbara Spisak Laskody.
Mrs. Mefford was a homemaker.
Surviving are her husband, Wayne Mefford; one son, Joseph Mefford of Lake Park. GA; three daughters, Kimberly Spitznogle and Judy Spitznogle both of Waynesburg, and Karen Spitznogle of Mt. Morris; one brother, Tom Laskody of Waynesburg; four sisters, Pauline Bowden of Morgantown, WV, Betty Adams of Willowick, Ohio, Margie VanMeter of Bobtown, PA and Judy Jaggie also of Bobtown, PA; fourteen grandchildren and twenty-one great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one son, Edward Mefford; one grandson, Eddy Spitznogle; and three brothers, Paul Laskody, Edward Laskody, and John Laskody.
Friends may call at the Owen-Neely Funeral Home, 5894 Mason Dixon Highway, Blacksville, WV from 2-4 & 7-9 PM Friday. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 11:00 AM Saturday with Pastor Jake Judy officiating. Interment will follow in the Cedar Grove Cemetery, Mt. Morris, PA.
