DEWEY D. WISE
Dewey Dean Wise, 68, of Waynesburg, PA died Friday, July 24, 2026 in WVU Medicine J. W. Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown.
He was born June 20, 1958 at Hundred, WV a son of the late Ezra Sylvester Wise and Hazel Hostutler Wise.
Surviving is two sons, Dewey Dean Wise. Jr. of Smithfield, WV and Justin Hamilton of Littleton; one daughter, Melissa Wise of Parkersburg; one brother, William Joseph Wise of Waynesburg; and two grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Doug Wise, Harold “Pickle” Wise, Larry Wise, and Andy Wise; and by two sisters, Edis Raymond and Dinah Darlene Wise.

The family would like to thank Molinda Starkey, Angie Rebold, and Ireland Copeland for the care that they provided to Dewey.
Dewey also had special friends, Roshelle Piper and Matthew Piper.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
